Leilani Baker is a devoted real estate professional who is from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Her motto is "It's not about how many houses I sell. It's about how many people I help." In addition to giving a percentage of her sales to Friends of Malcolm, a non-profit that benefits the John S. She utilizes her expansive knowledge to answer clients questions about home-ownership, selling homes, general market conditions, or suitable financial options. Leilani's attention to detail enables her to provide great service and ensures that her clients are always satisfied. Leilani makes finding the perfect home for her clients her foremost goal and seeks to obtain that one special property for them. Leilani has been ranked by HomeLight as one of the top 3% of agents who sells homes quickly and as one of the top 10% of agents who successfully completes transactions while getting sellers their asking price or higher 99% of the time. She is an agent who closes 100% of transactions and possesses numerous specialties. She is a certified Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Specialist and possesses extensive experience in Probate and Trust Sales. She not only understands distressed property transactions and all the accompanying considerations, but also knows how to navigate the circumstances and ensure her clients needs are met. Though buying and selling homes can be difficult during uncertain times, Leilani's knowledge of pertinent timelines and necessary paperwork for such transactions reduces the stress surrounding these events. Prior to real estate, Leilani was the founder and president of a full range of body care products. Leilani's business acumen and sense of responsibility to her clients led her to earn the 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year award from Beauty Industry West and her line was featured in a number of national and international magazines including Seventeen, Young Miss, US Weekly and Biteki. Leilani credits her time as a business owner for refining the base of knowledge she formed when studying sales and marketing at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and at Kapiolani Community College. She also credits the experience for developing her skills in negotiation and ability to think quickly. Previously, Leilani worked as a flight attendant for a major airline for 23 years; her excellent capacity to anticipate peoples needs and boundless positive attitude have formed the basis of her customer service in real estate. Leilani loves design and refinishing furniture. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family: her husband, 9-year-old daughter, two dogs and two cats.
